Air intake and exhaust are available from the top or the sides, simplifying installation and eliminating the need for extra ductwork. While heating water, ESSENTA draws heat from the surrounding air – providing free cooling to nearby spaces such as pantries, cellars, or garages. This effect is especially welcome wherever you want to maintain lower temperatures, for example when storing preserves or other temperature-sensitive items. Cooling happens quietly, with no extra energy consumption or additional controls required.
ESSENTA draws heat from the room’s air and returns pleasantly cool, dehumidified air back into the space. An ideal solution when the heat pump is located in a room you wish to keep cool and dry, such as a cellar or pantry.
The system offers a choice: air can be drawn from and returned to the same room, an adjacent room, the outside, or a combination – depending on where you want the cooling effect.
ESSENTA can be installed in one room while drawing and returning air through ducts to a different room or to the outside. This way, it has no impact on the temperature or climate of the room where the unit is located.
ESSENTA works alongside pellet, wood, or woodchip boilers. In summer, it provides hot water without the need to run the boiler; in winter, it reduces fuel consumption and adds an extra layer of comfort.
Heat that would otherwise be lost through the ventilation system is captured by ESSENTA and converted into energy for water heating, while the cooled air is returned to the heat recovery unit’s exhaust duct.
Multiple ESSENTA units can be connected in cascade. They operate in a coordinated sequence based on demand and together ensure sufficient hot water even for larger buildings, such as apartment complexes, sports centres, or commercial properties.
