When Should You Switch to Winter Mode?

It’s best to switch to winter mode when you notice a consistent drop in temperatures, typically when the outdoor temperature falls below 15°C and stays there throughout the day. In most cases, this happens in early fall, though the timing may vary depending on local weather conditions.

To be fully prepared, keep an eye on the forecast, and use the first chilly week as a reminder to switch to winter mode. Acting promptly ensures your home stays comfortably warm before the temperatures take a more dramatic dive.
