In designing the new versatile heat pump VERSI, at KRONOTERM, we focused primarily on its diverse applications and installations. The heat pump is designed for buildings with low heating needs, for low-energy and passive houses, and residential houses up to 150 m2. It can also be used in apartments, weekend houses, cottages, offices, and even in smaller commercial buildings. Particularly revolutionary is its use in apartments, as it provides owners in multi-apartment buildings with complete independence and extremely low heating costs. The VERSI heat pump heats and cools spaces and heats domestic hot water.
The diversity of use and installation is made possible by three different executions with the possibility of installation outside or inside the building. The VERSI-I, VERSI-O, and VERSI-X executions, with the same basic technology, address various challenges faced by users. “During development, we faced many challenges as we sought to combine different applications into one compact solution, taking into account the experience of our users during installation, use, and maintenance,” says Franci Marovt, head of the development department.

Space constraints in houses with ever smaller square footage and in increasingly dense settlements are a significant challenge. The VERSI heat pump is compact, small in size, and takes up very little space. It can easily be placed in the attic, under the stairs, in a niche, or even in a closet. In addition to space and cost savings, a significant contribution to reducing harmful emissions is also essential. Each VERSI heat pump transfers up to 200 MWh of renewable heat from the environment in 15 years, resulting in a savings of 45 tons of CO2 or 220 trees.
Silence is a feature that characterizes our devices and is an expectation of users. Even if it can be placed on the balcony and right next to the building wall, thanks to almost silent operation and a special vibration damping system that prevents further spread throughout the building, it is completely unobtrusive for living. The VERSI heat pump is even 40 times quieter than the requirements of the European directive for heat pumps.
