HOW TO CHOOSE THE COLOUR OF YOUR HEAT PUMP?

When designing a house, we spend a lot of time choosing elements that will contribute to the aesthetic perfection of our home. This should also apply to selecting a heat pump!

At KRONOTERM, we recognize the significance of each element in shaping the final look of our surroundings. That’s why we’ve collaborated with a design studio to create exquisitely designed outdoor units for our heat pumps. These units have been honored with the prestigious Archiproduct Design Award for their outstanding design. Beyond their carefully selected minimalist lines, we have meticulously chosen a range of colors to enhance their aesthetic appeal.

The outdoor units of the ADAPT and VERSI heat pumps are available in six colors: INOX, NERO (black), OLIO (olive green), ANTHRACITE, NEBBIA (light gray), and our most exceptional material, CORTEN. But which one is the right choice for you?

INOX

A bold classic with an industrial touch, inox blends well with cool tones in the surroundings and shines in minimalist and industrial settings. It pairs well with concrete, brick, and large glass surfaces. It is also suitable for urban areas where buildings are often clad in glass and metal.

NERO (Ral 8019 F Effect)

NERO, a deep, bold, and elegant black-brown color that plays with light reflections, is a modern element perfect for contemporary settings. It offers a minimalist and sleek look, emphasizing clean lines and enhancing the modern appearance of a house, especially when paired with other black or dark-colored elements. Combined with stone and wooden surfaces, it creates a refined and sophisticated contrast.

OLIO (Ral 6003 F Effect)

In harmony with nature, OLIO is our olive green color that blends seamlessly with green lawns, shrubs, and trees. It is especially well-suited for installations in verdant environments. In Mediterranean settings, rural houses, farm buildings, or cottages, olive green pairs beautifully with natural materials such as wood, stone, and brick. Olive green units bring a touch of freshness and blend harmoniously with olive trees, vines, and terracotta.

ANTHRACITE (Ral 7016)

Anthracite, a softer shade of black, complements commonly used metal colors in canopies and other metal fixtures. It pairs well with modern garden furniture, fences, entrance doors, and other architectural elements. Anthracite harmonizes with glass, metal, and concrete, giving the building a sophisticated and cohesive appearance. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, it is also practical, as it is less sensitive to dirt and weather conditions, helping maintain the unit’s pristine look over time.

NEBBIA (Ral 9018)

NEBBIA, a gentle gray reminiscent of morning mist, pairs well with light facades, stone, and concrete, blending seamlessly into the background and remaining discreet. This light gray color complements natural materials such as wood, stone, and brick, creating a soft contrast that adds refinement without overwhelming visual dominance. It is also a practical choice, as minor impurities and dust are less visible, helping to maintain the unit’s tidy appearance over time.

CORTEN

CORTEN is an exceptional material that transcends mere color. Initially silver, this steel develops a protective rust-like patina over months of exposure to weather conditions. Highly popular in modern architecture, CORTEN is used for various applications, from facades to urban and artistic structures. If you want your heat pump to become a decorative element in your surroundings, CORTEN is the perfect choice.
